Hooded eyes: Place the cut crease line or halo frame higher than the visible socket when the eyes are open. Draw it on the brow bone, not in the socket. With the eye open, the crease or halo frame must be visible above the hood. The lid shimmer stays sheer rather than densely packed, because density on a hooded lid disappears under the fold. Monolid eyes: There is no natural crease fold. Place the crease line or halo frame where the fold would sit if one were present, typically 6 to 10mm above the lash line depending on eye size. Shimmer lid and halo center work especially well on monolids because the full lid stays visible.
